Entering UK as an EU citizen family member

Hello! i am extra shengen resident, and my husband is italian citizen. Time ago i was refused to enter UK, accompanyed with my husband and having valid passport, residence permit and marriage certificate according to article 10 presented here
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/entering-the-uk-as-the-holder-of-an-article-10-residence-card/entering-the-uk-as-the-holder-of-an-article-10-residence-card
because in my residence card was not written that i am "a family member of EU citizen". My residence card says "Motivi familiari". what means "family reason". In Italy. according to
http://www.camera.it/parlam/leggi/deleghe/98286dl.htm
Art. 30
(Permesso di soggiorno per motivi familiari)
(Legge 6 marzo 1998, n. 40, art. 28) 1.a
this is the kind of residence permit which i take being a family member of italian citizen. And i remember, we showed also our marriage certificate.
I have tryed to ask https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/, but they said that i must check gov.uk and nothing more. Please help me to understand, if the actions of immigration police was legal and what can i do if it was not. Thank you
